Our little shop isn’t called Lee’s Tees and Things anymore—we’re now Bushnell’s Mercantile, and I want to pull up a chair and tell y’all why.

The Ah-Ha Moment

One morning, coffee in hand and a baby on my hip, I was fixin’ to post on Instagram.

Instead of typing out the whole web address, I hopped over to Google and searched “Lee’s Tees and Things.”

Y’all, my jaw about hit the floor—there was a Lee’s Tees and a handful of Facebook groups with almost the same name.

That just wouldn’t do.

I want a brand that’s ours and only ours, something my kids can point to and say, “That’s Momma’s store.”

But Hold Up—No Deer Stands Here

Before anyone asks: nope, we’re not the folks who make hunting scopes or camouflage gear.

We may be Bushnell, but the only thing we’re aiming for is cute, faith-filled merch and maybe a second cup of coffee.

(If you came lookin’ for a tree stand, bless your heart—you’re still welcome to browse, but you’ll leave with a T-shirt, not a rifle sight. This was mostly a joke.)

I prayed on it, tossed ideas around with my husband, and kept coming back to family.

Bushnell is our family name, the heart of everything we do.

Mercantile makes me think of those old-time general stores where folks gathered, swapped stories, and left with something special.

It’s simple, strong, and just feels like home.
